WATCH: In Augusta, Sen. Ossoff Responds to Bombshell CNN Reporting on Collins’ Continued Ties to White Nationalism, Promotion of Political Violence
Sen. Ossoff: “I have to address this morning’s CNN report. It’s completely disqualifying, and the congressman needs to come out and explain immediately why he continues to allow the production of white nationalist, antisemitic propaganda on his property. This election is in less than two weeks. You saw what CNN reported just this morning. He has an obligation to answer for this.”
Augusta, Ga. — Eleven days out from election day, Senator Jon Ossoff called on GOP U.S. Senate nominee Mike Collins to answer for his continued ties to white nationalism after new bombshell CNN reporting revealed that Collins has continued to allow the production of white nationalist and antisemitic content from his property.
CNN also unearthed that Collins promoted political violence in shocking and previously unreported comments where he suggested that “American military and political leaders deserved to be hanged from a helicopter,” and joked about pushing former Speaker Nancy Pelosi out of an airplane — similar to when he said immigrants should be thrown from helicopters to their deaths.
Today’s reporting builds upon the widely-reported ties between Collins and white nationalism, highlighting Collins’ ongoing praise for and years-long friendship with Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, “the outspoken far-right Republican who was censured by her own state’s Republican-led Senate in March 2022 after speaking at a White nationalist conference and making inflammatory statements about her political enemies.”
In Augusta, Sen. Ossoff also met with volunteers before sending them off to knock doors for Democrats up and down the ballot, encouraging Georgians to vote early in person and make their voices heard at the polls. Sen. Ossoff continues to build incredible momentum heading into Election Day, gaining bipartisan support across the state as Democrats head into November unified at the top of the ticket.

Sen. Ossoff: “I don’t know if you saw the latest reporting in CNN this morning. More white nationalist and antisemitic propaganda being produced from Congressman Mike Collins’ property. Did you all see? I asked him at the debate if he could just commit for three weeks. Is it so much to ask a candidate for the U.S. Senate, just three weeks with no neo-Nazi propaganda coming from his home? A commitment that he was unwilling to make — a sitting member of Congress, a candidate for the Senate.”
