WATCH: Ahead of Trump’s Rally in Perry, Sen. Ossoff Presses Collins on Ties to White Nationalism & Promotion of Political Violence Following Bombshell CNN Reporting
Sen. Ossoff: “Why is the president here to campaign for a congressman who allows white nationalist and antisemitic propaganda to be produced from his home? Why does the congressman refuse to answer questions about the white nationalist and antisemitic propaganda being produced from his home? Why will the congressman not stop the production of white nationalist and antisemitic propaganda from his own home while he runs for the Senate?”
Atlanta, Ga. — Ahead of Donald Trump’s rally tonight in Perry, Senator Jon Ossoff pressed GOP U.S. Senate nominee Mike Collins to answer for his continued ties to white nationalism after bombshell CNN reporting revealed that Collins has continued to allow the production of white nationalist and antisemitic content from his property.
CNN also unearthed as part of this reporting that Collins promoted political violence in shocking and previously unreported comments where he said that “American military and political leaders deserved to be hanged from a helicopter,” and joked about pushing former Speaker Nancy Pelosi out of an airplane — similar to when he said immigrants should be thrown from helicopters to their deaths.
The reporting builds upon the widely-reported ties between Collins and white nationalism, highlighting Collins’ ongoing praise for and years-long friendship with Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, “the outspoken far-right Republican who was censured by her own state’s Republican-led Senate in March 2022 after speaking at a White nationalist conference and making inflammatory statements about her political enemies.”
As part of today’s event in Atlanta, Sen. Ossoff and former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg mobilized volunteers and supporters around the issues impacting Georgians, including skyrocketing health care, gas and grocery costs, before sending them off to knock doors for Democrats up and down the ballot.

Sen. Ossoff: ”We saw CNN reporting yesterday that the production of white nationalist and antisemitic propaganda has continued to this day from Mike Collins’ home, while he sits in the U.S. House of Representatives and runs for a six-year term in the United States Senate. It is disqualifying. It is obscene, and in 10 days, we will end his political career. 10 days.”
