Sen. Ossoff: “I want my little girls to grow up in a country founded on the values of Congressman John Lewis. So let’s get out there with the congressman looking down on us. Let’s make him proud so that the sound of feet marching to the polls is heard from every corner of our state. Early voting is open through the end of this week.”

Columbus, Ga. — One week before Election Day, Senator Jon Ossoff is encouraging Georgians to make their voices heard and vote early in person by October 30th and continuing to press his Republican opponent Mike Collins on his extensive ties to white nationalism.

At a canvass launch in Columbus, Sen. Ossoff addressed volunteers before sending them off to knock doors for Democrats up and down the ballot. Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet joined Sen. Ossoff in encouraging Georgians to vote early in person before October 30th. 

Sen. Ossoff also pressed GOP U.S. Senate nominee Mike Collins to answer for his continued ties to white nationalism after bombshell CNN reporting recently revealed that Collins has continued to allow the production of white nationalist and antisemitic content from his property.

The reporting builds upon the widely-reported ties between Collins and white nationalism, highlighting Collins’ ongoing praise for and years-long friendship with Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, “the outspoken far-right Republican who was censured by her own state’s Republican-led Senate in March 2022 after speaking at a White nationalist conference and making inflammatory statements about her political enemies.”
