WATCH: On Election Day Eve, Ossoff Campaigns With Sen. Rev. Warnock, Rep. Johnson, and Downballot Candidates

Sen. Ossoff in South DeKalb: “There are 29 hours until the polls close, and what I want you to know and take courage in knowing is that at dozens of offices across our state right now — as we stand here and prepare to go and knock on doors — there are thousands of volunteers just like us who are going to go out into neighborhoods in every corner of Georgia to get out the vote. We’re going to have no regrets on Wednesday.”

Sen. Ossoff in Decatur: “We are on the cusp of a victory for the ages. We are on the cusp of making history. We are on the cusp of having a transformative impact on Georgia’s history and our nation’s history. We’ve seen in these last few months attacks on civil rights and voting rights unprecedented for decades.”

Decatur, Ga. — On the eve of the November 3rd election, Senator Jon Ossoff was joined by Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock and Democratic downballot candidates in addressing volunteers before sending them off to knock doors in Decatur.

Earlier in the day, Sen. Ossoff was joined by Congressman Hank Johnson in meeting with volunteers in South DeKalb and encouraging Georgians to head to the polls tomorrow and make their voices heard.

Recent reporting in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution highlights Georgia’s high youth turnout as Black and young voters “are heading to the polls at a significantly faster clip than during the last midterm election,” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The AJC outlined that “early in-person voting among Black Georgians is up 33% compared with the first nine days of voting in 2022, while turnout among voters under 30 has jumped 54%. Among young Black voters, the increase is an eye-popping 80%.”

This follows a poll by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which shows Ossoff’s strength with a high approval rating of 55% including strong support from independents, even after Republicans have spent millions of dollars on TV and digital ads targeting him.

Meanwhile, GOP U.S. Senate nominee Mike Collins’ scandal-ridden campaign continues to collapse around him due to multiple scandals, including new bombshell Washington Post reporting today exposing Collins’ continued ties to white nationalism, political violence, and neo-Nazi ideology.

The Washington Post reporting details shocking and previously unreported comments from Jonathon Hatzistefanou, a former Mike Collins congressional staffer. According to The Washington Post,  Hatzistefanou “posted that the ‘only thing that matters’ is pushing back against the multiracial democracy that developed after the civil rights movement, which the post said has had ‘unfathomable consequences.’” The Washington Post also reveals that Hatzistefanou “described the civil rights movement of the 1960s as a mistake, writing ‘Democrats sold their country down the river for progressive moral superiority in the 1960s,’ and complained that many Republicans were still committed to civil rights.”

Sen. Ossoff in South DeKalb: “29 hours until the polls close. That means that we have 29 hours still ahead of us to use our constitutional rights and take action and change the course of history and save our country. We have 29 hours to work, and you all are here to work, right? And look, I don’t need to repeat for you all everything that’s been done to our country these last two years. You all have seen it. You all are feeling it. You all are living it every single day. You’ve seen us lied into war. You’ve seen these tariffs crushing families and small businesses and farmers. You’ve seen these devastating health care cuts. They doubled our health insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich.”

Sen. Ossoff in Decatur: “The work that you’re about to do out there — empowering and informing your fellow Georgians to vote tomorrow — is empowering and informing your fellow Georgians to defend their rights, to defend what this country stands for, and to advance the causes of justice and righteousness here in our state and nationwide. So thank you so much for everything that you’ve done. Not just for the last 18 months, but for the last decade to make a difference. We’ve been on a long journey together that’s brought us to this moment where we’re on the precipice of breaking through and beginning a new era for our state. Let’s give it everything that we’ve got. No regrets, Decatur.”
